| FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS The Molex Hawk termination machine is designed for use with two different Molex product lines with only a minor tooling change. This machine will assemble 2.54mm (.100") Pitch SLTM Flat Flexible Cable connectors to Flat Flexible Cable, Flexible Printed Circuitry and membrane switch tails, along with 2.54mm (.100") Pitch SL IDT ribbon cable assemblies with a production rate of up to 750 per hour, depending on the operator's skill. This machine has the ability to produce 950 assemblies per hour with the addition of a magazine tube loader, (contact Molex for more information on this option). The Hawk will handle 2 to 25 circuits, (circuit size of 2 must be and circuit size of 3 should be processed in chains of 2 or more to avoid feed jams), and has the option of a carrier breakoff for both product lines. This machine is designed for mid-volume, semi-automatic applications with cable lengths greater than 1". Features and Benefits n Can be used with flat flexible cable or pre-notched ribbon cable. This allows for production flexibility and lowers overall cost. n Automatic loading of connectors from tube packaging, which will reduce operator handling and increase production output. n Operator interface keypad for data entry, such as setting batch size or displaying an operator fault message, to help ensure proper operation. n Automatic carrier strip breakoff available, which can be factory ordered or field installed and will reduce operator's handling of product. n Meets OSHA safety requirements and is totally enclosed for operator safety. n Available in 220 volts and has been CE certified for use in Europe Electrical Voltage: 110/220 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1.0A Foot switch activated Mechanical Dimensions: Height--494.00mm (19.50") (without feet) Width--945.00mm (37.25") Depth--914.00mm (36.00") Weight: Unpacked--48.10 kg (103 lbs.)
