TLP192G TOSHIBA Photocoupler Photorelay TLP192G PC Card Modems PBX STB (Set Top Boxes) Measurement Equipment The Toshiba TLP192G consists of a gallium arsenide infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a photo-MOSFET in a 6-pin SOP package. This photorelay has a characteristic of high-withstanding voltage between output pins which enables TLP192G to be applied in hook relays and dial-pulse for modems and facsimiles. Moreover, the TLP192G is used for PCMCIA-compliant card modems because the maximum mounted height of SOP package is as small as 2.1 mm. * * * * * * * * * 6-pin SOP (2.54SOP4): Height = 2.1 mm, Pitch = 2.54 mm Normally open (1-form-A) device Peak Off-state voltage: 350 V (min) Trigger LED current: 3 mA (max) On-state current: 110 mA (max) On-state resistance: 35 (max, t < 1 s) On-state resistance: 50 (max, continuous) Isolation voltage: 1500 Vrms (min) UL recognized: UL1557, File No.E67349 JEDEC JEITA TOSHIBA Weight: 0.2 g (typ.) 11-7C1 Unit: mm Pin Configuration (top view) 1 6 1: Anode 2 5 2: Cathode 4: Drain D1 5: Source 6: Drain D2 3 4 Schematic 1 6 2 5 4 1 2007-10-01 TLP192G Absolute Maximum Rating (Ta = 25C) Characteristics Forward current Forward current derating (Ta > 25C) = Reverse voltage Junction temperature Off-state output terminal voltage On-state current Detector Forward current derating (Ta > 25C) = Junction temperature Storage temperature range Operating temperature range Lead soldering temperature (10 s) Isolation voltage (AC, 1 min, R.H. < 60%) = (Note 1) Symbol IF IF/C VR Tj VOFF ION ION/C Tj Tstg Topr Tsol BVS Rating 50 -0.5 5 125 350 110 -1.1 125 -55~125 -40~85 260 1500 Unit mA mA/C V C V mA mA/C C C C C Vrms LED Note: Using continuously under heavy loads (e.g. the application of high temperature/current/voltage and the significant change in temperature, etc.) may cause this product to decrease in the reliability significantly even if the operating conditions (i.e. operating temperature/current/voltage, etc.) are within the absolute maximum ratings. Please design the appropriate reliability upon reviewing the Toshiba Semiconductor Reliability Handbook ("Handling Precautions"/"Derating Concept and Methods") and individual reliability data (i.e. reliability test report and estimated failure rate, etc).
